ABOUT ME
A Passionate Developer
I’m Leonel Saba Quezada, a full-stack developer based in Switzerland with 2+ years of experience building modern web applications.
My Journey
In Switzerland, where I completed a vocational school in computer science and earned my CFC over four years. After graduating, I chose to specialize further in programming, strengthening my fundamentals and focusing on advanced development skills that helped me build a solid foundation for the next step.
While studying at 42 Lausanne, I worked as an IT technician, supporting users onsite and remotely. That experience gave me a practical understanding of how systems behave in real environments, how to troubleshoot under pressure, and how important clear communication is when working with non-technical teams.
To complete my training, I then joined Structo Sàrl for a four-month internship, which became my first real experience as a web developer. Working in an agency context taught me how to translate business needs into production-ready features, deliver iteratively, and stay focused on quality and maintainability.
At the end of that internship, I was offered a permanent role, and I’ve been working there since as a full-stack developer. Today, I keep expanding from frontend into full-stack development, building end-to-end products with Next.js, AdonisJS, Django and PostgreSQL, and learning how to deploy and operate them reliably.
My Environment
Day to day, I work mostly with VS Code on macOS and Linux, keeping a simple setup focused on speed and readability. I like tools that help me move fast while staying consistent with formatting, linting and clean project structure. Outside of coding, I run a small self-hosted setup with Docker, Traefik and Coolify on a VPS and at home. It’s where I deploy my personal projects and host open-source services, which helps me learn more about real-world deployment, networking and reliability.
